Burnout & Performance: The Path to Improvement


This interactive session will explore the methods of preventing and overcoming burnout as reported in the literature. Further, methods for administrators to foster a healthy and effective work environment will be explored. Particular emphasis will be devoted to examining how burnout impacts performance as well as how holistic wellness can help to prevent this.

In this session, we'll look into some ways you can tap into your inner creativity:

  • Describe and identify signs of burnout
  • Assess the need for burnout prevention programs in their organization
  • Identify and implement performance improvement interventions to address burnout

      Registrations are not considered definite or confirmed until payment has been submitted.

      Cancellations & Refunds:

      Cancellations will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday, April 28th

      • Cancellations received prior to this time/date should be requested in writing and sent to finance@a2atd.org.
      • Refunds will be issued either (1) by check (less a $5 processing fee) and will be mailed to the address on file or (2) transferred to the next scheduled A2ATD meeting date.

      Refunds after Friday, April 28th at 5 pm cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.

      About the Presenter:

       




      Dr. Matthew Ritzman earned his Ph.D. from the University of Toledo in Education: Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in organization and individual performance improvement. Dr. Ritzman has worked in the Criminal Justice System in various roles for over 10 years. He currently functions as a therapist, Labor Union President, and educator. He is actively engaged in research and developing training. Dr. Ritzman uses this to present and train at both conferences as well as to various organizations. 



























      Jeneen McNally, President of Speak So They Listen, LLC is a Corporate Trainer, Coach, Interviewer, and Business Developer. She is also the Director of Sales for the University of Michigan Operations Leadership Workshop.


      She coaches and presents workshops about how to "Speak So They Listen"...speaking and presenting so you are listened to AND understood in: 1-1 conversations, meetings, and giving presentations.
