Ready to take your ‘Q’ game to another level? We are currently facing changes requiring us to stretch beyond just merely creating ways for you to adjust to a virtual world. Do you know what skills you really need in order to thrive as a talent development professional, a leader and more? Find out about the rising importance of the Qs for leadership and career success. In this session, you will learn what it really means to demonstrate emotional intelligence and adaptability while gaining key takeaways to increase your Qs for leadership. Be a part of this event to unlock your leadership potential as you tackle the obstacles and soar to new heights.

Objectives

  • Distinguish among three Qs related to leadership
  • Discuss characteristics of high Q leaders
  • Discover steps for addressing challenges in increasing your AQ and EQ

Cancellations & Refunds:

Cancellations will be accepted until 5 pm the Friday before the event
  • Cancellations received prior to this time/date should be requested in writing and sent to finance@a2atd.org.
  • Refunds will be issued either via original payment or transferred to the next scheduled A2ATD meeting date.
  • Refunds after 5 pm the Friday before the event cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.

About the Presenter:


Dr. Esther Jackson is a project manager, instructional designer, and local college instructor. She is also a National Advisor for Chapters with the Association for Talent Development (ATD). At the local level of ATD, she currently serves as Past President for the ATD Detroit Chapter. Her background includes presenting webinars, facilitating workshops, and presenting at conferences such as the Training Magazine Conference & Expo , NAAAHR State of Michigan and the ATD Chapter Leaders Conference . In 2021, Esther will be presenting at the ATD International Conference & Expo. Topics for her presentations have included adaptability, change management, emotional intelligence, engagement, leadership development, project management, and many more. In addition, Esther has written articles for the TD Magazine and ISPI Performance Xpress. She holds a doctorate in education from Walden University and a master’s in instructional technology. Esther is working on her first book on adaptability which is due to be published in 2021.
